There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal. Nations, cultures, arts, civilisations - these are mortal, and their life is to ours as the life of a gnat. But it is immortals whom we joke with, marry, snub, and exploit - immortal horrors or everlasting splendours.

To love is to be vunerable. Love anything, and your heart will definitely be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket - safe, dark, motionless, airless - it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenettable, irredeemable. The alternative to tragedy, or at least to the risk of tragedy, is damnation. The only place outside heaven where you can be perfectly safe from all the dangers and perturbations of Love is Hell.

It's a bit hard to do all that if you let everyone know who you are. Even being anonymous carries certain responsibilities and obligations, what more if you reveal your identity?
i guess you can always remove the "comments" function...
then you can just write your thots and ppl can only read and not comment.

Blogging is a commitment. When you opened a door into you life to everyone, you took a risk. And the risk can be very tensed.
Maybe you should change your taste and love a guy instead. LOL
